Bridge to Health has a revised portfolio of projects, representing a new global vision. While are continuing our work in East Africa in 2023, we are proud to now have a growing presence in Latin America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

Point-of-care Ultrasound training in Yemen

This program is supported by the Humanitarian Grand Challenges grant and is in partnership with MedGlobal.

East-Africa Education Fund

Bridge to Health is currently supporting two students in Kenya and Uganda to pursue their clinical and dental education. Both work with our team to support our local programs in return.

The Yanamono Clinic in the Amazon region of Peru

This program is in partnership with the Amazon Medical Project, with research together with the Lancet Countdown for Health and Climate Change Peru.

Developing a protocol for POCUS for Dengue

Together with the University of Iquitos, Peru, we are developing a protocol for POCUS to screen for severe dengue.

Youth & Sport Task Force

We are supporting the Youth and Sport Task Force in Asia-Pacific together with UNESCO.

Health Vulnerabilities due to Climate Change in the Amazon

In partnership with the Lancet Countdown for Health and Climate Change, we are researching increased health vulnerabilities as a result of extreme weather events in Peru.

Local capacity building in Kalangala, Uganda

Bridge to Health is now working with the provincial clinic in Kalangala, Uganda, to support local clinicians. In May 2022, we donated a Butterfly Point-of-Care Ultrasound and are supporting in the training.

North American Community Health Outreach Pilot Program

In Development: We are working on a pilot program in West Baltimore (and other north American cities) to support outreach screening in partnership with local organizations.
